I picked up these phrasebooks for my trip to Europe with Evan three years ago. The Czech one came in handy a few times but we didn't really need to use the Dutch book much.
Prague, Amsterdam, and Haarlem were the three main destinations of our trip. In Amsterdam we stayed in the home of an elderly lady. I found her on http://www.bedandbreakfast.nl/ and it was a great deal for the price even though we had to walk up four flights of stairs to get to our room. There was another couple staying there who were visiting from Edmonton. Every morning we had breakfast in the main floor of the apartment with them. They kept trying to lure us to Edmonton - "We have the biggest mall in the world!" That was really their only argument so I have yet to make it there.
